The Tata Harrier EV was launched in India on 3 June, 2025.

Feature List

The Harrier EV is a fully-loaded electric SUV. Its on-paper specs are enhanced by certain segment-first features like a UPI-powered DrivePay system that eliminates the need for a phone while paying for public charger usage, Range Polygon for terrain-based range prediction, V2V (5kW) and V2L (3.3kW) reverse charging, Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered ECU, and dual-zone climate control.

There are five terrain modes - Sand, Rock-Crawl, Mud Ruts, Custom, and Normal. The electric SUV can be unlocked via a remote key, smartphone, smartwatch, and NFC! There’s also a four-spoke steering, panoramic sunroof, 502-litre boot, 65-watt USB-C charging ports, ventilated front seats, EPB, and six airbags.

Engine, Performance, and Specifications

The Harrier EV gets two battery pack options: 65kWh and 75kWh, paired either with single or dual motors. The former churns out 235bhp and 505km range, while the latter churns out 390bhp and 504Nm, returning a range of 627km.

Fast charge rates stand at 120kW, with a 20 to 80 per cent top-up taking 25 minutes. The Standard slow charge rate stands at 7.2kW.

Variants

The Harrier EV gets three variants – Adventure, Fearless, and Empowered. There are four colour options, viz. Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey, and Pristine White.

Safety

The Harrier EV gets six airbags, EPB with auto hold, TPMS, all-wheel discs, ESP with i-VBAC, traction control, hill descent control, rollover mitigation, reverse parking camera, and a sensor-based reverse parking assist.

Other highlights include Level 2 ADAS, AVAS, knee airbags, transparent mode for an enhanced terrain view, and hill-hold assist.

Rivals

For the price positioning, the Harrier EV will rival the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE6, and the Mahindra XEV 9e.
