Tata Safari EV

Model launch date:

The electric Safari is expected to be launched in H1 2024.

Feature list:

The 2024 Safari EV is likely to be based on the facelift of the current version on sale. It could receive a new split headlamp design, redesigned front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheels, and more. 

Inside, the model could come equipped with Level 1 ADAS, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats in the first and second row (captain seats version), an electrically adjustable driver seat, and a fully digital instrument cluster.

Battery pack and specifications:

Tata Motors has not revealed the battery pack details or specifications of the upcoming Safari EV. The SUV is expected to arrive with a dual-motor setup. It will be based on the brand’s Gen-2 architecture.

Variants:

The Safari EV could be offered in three variants, called XM, XZ, and XZ+

Safety:

The new Safari EV has not been tested by an NCAP body yet.

Competition:

Once launched, the electric Safari will rival the likes of the XUV.e8.
