Kia Carens Clavis EV

Model launch date:

The Kia Carens EV is expected to be launched in India sometime in 2025.

Variants:

While the variant details of the Carens EV are not known, we expect it to be offered in multiple variants.

Feature list:

Exterior

The electric Carens will carry the same exterior design and styling as those of the standard Carens. However, the distinguishing elements will include a blanked-out front grille, different alloy wheels, and a charging flap.

Interior

Like the standard Carens, the EV version of the MPV will most likely be equipped with an electric sunroof, digital instrument cluster, larger touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, and a three-row seating layout.

Battery, powertrain, and specifications:

The Kia Carens EV could have a driving range of up to 600km.

Safety:

Since the Carens EV has not been launched yet, the safety rating of the MPV is not available.

Competition:

When launched next year, the Carens EV will be an alternative to the likes of the Creta EV, XUV.e8, and the Maruti eVX.
